Francesa Falls Asleep…Again!

Mike Francesa, the popular New York drive-time host on WFAN, is in the news again for the wrong reasons. It appears Francesa fell asleep on his own show.

On Friday, sports blog Bob’s Blitz posted a video that appears to show Francesa nodding off while on air. In the video it looks like Mike hits his face on the microphone, which leads to him waking up wide-eyed and surprised.

This isn’t the first time Francesa has fallen asleep on his own show. Back in 2012, Mike dozed off during an interview with Yankees beat reporter Sweeny Murti. He claimed at the time he hadn’t fallen asleep, but his former partner Chris “Mad Dog” Russo told the Daily News, “Yeah, Mike fell asleep.”
