Former Zone Boss Saltzman Joins The Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks hired Atlanta sports marketing and radio veteran Andrew Saltzman as chief revenue officer and promoted Andrew Steinberg to the new role of chief business officer.

Saltzman and Steinberg will directly report to Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin.

Saltzman had been the chief revenue officer for PlayOn! Sports and the NFHS Network, the nation’s largest high school sports media company.

From 1997 to 2012, Saltzman was president of Big League Broadcasting, co-founding and developing Atlanta sports talk station, Sports Radio 790 The Zone, WQXI-AM and 590 The Fan, KFNS-AM in St. Louis.

Saltzman’s resume also includes successfully negotiating multi-year sports broadcast agreements with the Hawks, the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Tech Athletics and the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
