ESPN Radio is making an adjustment to its nighttime programming. As first reported by The Big Lead, the network is adding Israel Gutierrez as a co-host alongside Jorge Sedano during the 9p-11p ET slot. The two men have known each other for a long time and collaborate together on the NBA Lockdown podcast. Their pairing will begin on Monday February 8th.
Gutierrez, was previously under consideration for the afternoon slot on 790 The Ticket in Miami. The two sides however could not agree to terms. He is also a regular panelist on Around the Horn.
What this means for Jen Lada is still unclear. The network brought her and Sedano together in September after she had initially been hired to play a role on Colin Cowherd’s show before Colin left for Fox Sports.
