Sports fans in the Treasure Valley will soon have a new destination spot for local sports talk.
Idaho Press-Tribune Boise State beat writer B.J. Rains and KTVB Sports Director Jay Tust are teaming up on a new local sports talk show on ESPN Boise, the station announced Friday.
‘The Press Box‘ with Rains and Tust will begin on Feb. 15 and air weekdays from 9-11 a.m. on ESPN Boise, which can be found on 96.5 FM, 730 AM and online at ESPNBoise.com. Bob Costas and Joe Buck are scheduled to appear as guests during the first week.
The addition of ‘The Press Box’ means The Dan Le Batard Show will no longer be heard on ESPN Boise. Mike and Mike will end at 9 a.m., the Press Box will run from 9-11 a.m., and Russillo and Kanell will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
ESPN Boise now has two local shows. ‘The Breakdown with Johnny Mallory and Coach Mike Christianson’ will continue to air from 2 p.m to 6 p.m.
