Mets Broadcasts Return To The Albany Area

New York Mets broadcasts are returning to Albany for the next three seasons. WINU (104.9 FM), which is owned by the Albany Broadcasting Company, have signed a three-year contract with the club that begins with the 2016 season.

The Mets haven’t aired in the immediate Albany area since 2011, when WOFX (980 AM) carried them before making the decision to drop the franchise in favor of the Boston Red Sox. WOFX signed a new three-year deal themselves with the Sox prior to the 2015 season.

Mets games will also be available on WENU (1410 AM) in Glens Falls. That station is also owned by Albany Broadcasting.
