The folks at RadioInfluence.com have added a new baseball podcast. “Inside The Dugout”, features sports radio veteran Rich Herrera, and former Major League baseball manager Kevin Kennedy. The show will be produced and available on the company’s website two times per week.
Kennedy, spent the past twenty years working as a television analyst for ESPN, and Fox Sports. He’s also maintained a regular presence on Sirius XM’s MLB Network Radio, and contributes to Los Angeles Dodgers radio broadcasts.
Herrera, is based in Florida, and heard regularly on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM. He also appears on stations such as 790 The Ticket in Miami, Yahoo Sports Radio, and KMOX in St Louis.
Previously Herrera’s hosted for Sports Fan Radio, Prime Sports, Fox Sports Radio, Sirius XM, and other major market stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Tampa. He’s also served as a national sideline reporter for Sports USA Media’s NFL and NCAA football broadcasts.
Jason Barrett is the President and Founder of Barrett Media since the company was created in September 2015. Prior to its arrival, JB served as a sports radio programmer, launching brands such as 95.7 The Game in San Francisco, and 101 ESPN in St. Louis. He also spent time programming SportsTalk 950 in Philadelphia, 590 The Fan KFNS in St. Louis, and ESPN 1340/1390 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Jason also worked on-air and behind the scenes in local radio at 101.5 WPDH, WTBQ 1110AM, and WPYX 106.5. He also spent two years on the national stage, producing radio shows for ESPN Radio in Bristol, CT. Among them included the Dan Patrick Show, and GameNight.
