Steve Gorman, JT The Brick Out at Fox Sports Radio

Former Black Crowes drummer turned sports talk radio host Steve Gorman is out at Fox Sports Radio. The show, Steve Gorman Sports!, which Steve co-hosted along with his cousin Jeffrey, debuted in 2010 in Nashville. Fox Sports Radio picked up the show in 2014. Gorman bid farewell to his audience after Friday’s show.

Gorman has not announced any future sports radio plans. He will continue to tour and record with his band Trigger Happy.

JT the Brick has announced that he too is out of a job. Brick has been with Fox Sports Radio since 2001.

JT the Brick’s first exposure to sports radio listeners was as a caller to Jim Rome’s show. He won Rome’s original “Smack Off” in 1995. His first hosting gig was as a late night host at KMAX in LA. He also made stops in San Diego, Las Vegas, and San Francisco before joining Fox Sports Radio.

The network has not yet announced plans for what will fill its two open evening slots.
