Thom Abraham announced today on Facebook that he is returning to the Huntsville, AL market next week with a new mid day show on ESPN 97.7 the Zone.
Abraham hosted afternoons on cross-town rival 730 the Ump until earlier this year. That time slot is now occupied by Ump PD Arky Shea and Jason Marks and their show Lockdown Coverage.
With the addition of Abraham, ESPN 97.7 the Zone will now have three local weekday shows including Talkin’ Ball with Scott Theisen and Drew DeArmond in morning drive and The Drive with Wes Neighbors and Steve Moulton in afternoons. Abraham will replace the Stephen A. Smith Show from ESPN Radio.
