Chicago’s sports betting community will have to change their radios if they want to hear the latest information from Brent Musberger and the rest of the Vegas Stats and Information Network staff. VSiN is moving its programming from 670 the Score to Cumulus-owned news talks WLS in Chicago.
WLS will carry Brent Musberger’s Action Updates every Monday through Friday evening just before 7pm local time. The station will also air VSiN’s Sunday Preview during the football season. The show airs every Saturday night at 6:30 pm and features Dave Farra and Matt Brown breaking down every game on the weekend’s NFL schedule.
“Chicago has always been one of the greatest sports cities with the greatest sports fans,” Musburger said in a press release. “With regulated sports betting on its way to Illinois, those sports fans might want to have a little action on their favorite teams. We’re glad to bring Chicago’s sports betting enthusiasts the news and insights they need to win.”
The move is part of WLS building out its sports profile. In February the University of Illinois announced that WLS would become the new home of Illini basketball and football in Chicago.
