When the NBA returns in a few weeks, it will have been more than four months without a game, a longer layoff than their standard offseason. But the restart is finally close and it’s evident by Turner announcing a return for their NBA on TNT studio programming next week.
The next two weeks will feature new episodes of Turner’s NBA on TNT Tuesday Night and Inside The NBA shows. Both shows will help preview the 22 teams as they prepare for game action from the Orlando bubble, and also offer important discussions on racial equality
Turner’s NBA studio programming will tip off Tuesday, July 7, at 8pm ET when Dwyane Wade, Candace Parker, Shaquille O’Neal and Adam Lefkoe return to continue the first season of NBA on TNT Tuesday Night. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Emmy Award winning Inside the NBA will air Thursday nights at 8pm ET, featuring host Ernie Johnson, analysts Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaq.
Both shows will be produced remotely, before they head to Turner’s Atlanta studios for the NBA’s restart. The NBA on TNT is scheduled to return July 30 for its first regular season games since March 11, featuring the Pelicans and Jazz at 6:30pm ET, followed by the Lakers and Clippers.
