Joe Scarborough Says MSNBC Will Block Feed if President Trump Declares Victory Tuesday

Talk show host Joe Scarborough told his MSNBC viewers if President Trump declares victory he will tell the network to block the feed.

“We can assure you — we’re going to be doing coverage on ‘Peacock’ [NBC’s streaming service] — and we can assure you that if Trump goes out and declares victory we will be there to say, ‘don’t take the feed,’” Scarborough said on “Morning Joe.”

Election day coverage on all major networks including MSNBC promises to be something that we have never witnessed before with more than 90 million ballots already cast and a host of states allowing ballots to be counted through the mail as long as they are postmarked by Nov 3.

Meanwhile, television networks have promised not to let either candidate get away with releasing false information when it comes to the election results.

“It’s not going to happen. We’re not going to be part of any disinformation campaign by anybody: we’ll be doing coverage from 6 p.m. until midnight or until this thing’s over,” Scarborough said.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll nearly half of Trump/Biden supporters are not prepared to accept defeat of their candidate in the presidential election. Most major polls have Biden leading Trump with Pennsylvania and Florida becoming focal points for states that may decide the election.

“It’s going to be a wild night and Donald Trump has already signaled that,” MSNBC correspondent Willie Geist said.
