WIBC 93.1 FM radio host Tony Katz will be heard at a different time on his nationally syndicated radio show Tony Katz Today. The show, which is heard locally in Indianapolis, will now start at noon. The change goes into effect immediately.
“We know we have a hit with Tony, and we know that others are interested in what he’s doing,” said program director David Wood. “With some changes we’ve made here, this move made sense for the station and for Tony.”
In a statement, Katz lauded his local ratings and praised his show for its current setup. “This move shows a lot of faith in the show from WIBC and opens up a lot of opportunity.”
Katz hosts a weekend syndicated show on Radio America called Eat! Drink! Smoke!
Additionally, WIBC expanded the Mock ‘N Rob Show to 9a-noon.
