WWE will see a departure for one of their on-air personalities. The company won’t be renewing Charly Caruso’s contract when it expires, per PWInisder (via Heel By Nature).
Over the last few weeks, WWE handed Caruso’s on-air duties to other personalities included Kayla Braxton, Sarah Schreiber, and Kevin Patrick.
A few days ago, Fightful reported Caruso garnered backstage heat after being late for interviews with talent, which has led to WWE pulling her from television duties.
Caruso began covering NXT back in 2016 before heading to the main roster, including hosting the Raw Talk program. Furthermore, Caruso has used her time with WWE to catapult into a position with ESPN, where she’s been since 2018.
The company has no plans for Caruso to appear on WWE television and will likely phase her out of its programming until the contract expires. Having made appearances on First Take and Sportscenter, Caruso will probably have to focus solely on her ESPN duties shortly.
