Baseball season is about to arrive, and Major League Baseball teams are putting together their final touches on their broadcasting teams for the 2021 season.
Inside Radio reports that Cumulus Media sports “ESPN 630 – The Sports Capitol” WSBN Washington, DC is now the home for Baltimore Orioles baseball. The radio station’s coverage of Orioles baseball begins April 1st when they take on the Boston Red Sox.
“We are thrilled to be associated with the Baltimore Orioles,” Senior VP/Market Manager Ken Roberts said. “From their classic venue Oriole Park at Camden Yards to their Hall of Fame heritage, the Orioles have a rich history with the league and with the city of Baltimore.”
ESPN 630 adds the Orioles to go along with its coverage of the Washington Football Team and the University of Virginia. Previously, Orioles games aired in the market on WTEM (980).
