77 WABC Radio host and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani defended due process Wednesday in the case of embattled Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo faces a firestorm of controversy following a report released by New York Attorney General Letitia James that concluded that he sexually harassed 11 women.
“Cuomo may be guilty, but we used to have trials before convictions,” tweeted Giuliani.
The report said Cuomo fostered a “hostile work environment for women” and engaged in “unwelcome and non-consensual touching.”
“The truth of the charges against Cuomo should be determined by a trial of an impeachment and/or an indictment, not by the media.”
In addition, Giuliani tweeted his support for an investigation into New York State’s nursing home deaths.
“The covered-up allegations of sending the elderly to death in nursing homes, rather than to available safe beds, should be tried by a jury.”
Tuesday, President Joe Biden joined several congressional Democrats and Republicans in calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo of New York to resign.
