WDAF-TV FOX4 is adding another member to their morning news team as evening anchor Pat McGonigle permanently joins the FOX4 Morning News. Since last October, McGonigle has been a guest anchor on mornings.
“Pat is a perfect addition to our FOX4 morning show family,” Tracy Brogden Miller, FOX4 Vice President and General Manager, said.
“His personality and experience are an extremely good fit with our current talent of Abby Eden, Karli Ritter, Nick Vasos, Kim Byrnes, Kerri Stowell and Michelle Bogowith. This is a special team.”
The addition of McGonigle comes as a shuffle on the morning news as an anchor and Traffic Expert Nick Vasos takes over an expanded role anchoring the 9 am newscast with Kim Byrnes.
In addition to anchoring the 4:30 am – 6 am newscasts with Abby Eden, Vasos will also be a part of additional news features between 6 am and 9 am. McGonigle and Vasos are joining Abby Eden, who returned from maternity leave on Monday, January 3rd.
