YouTube suspended and demonetized conservative talk show host Dan Bongino’s account after he questioned the efficacy of masks Friday.
Bongino appeared on Fox & Friends Saturday to discuss the suspension, which the platform said was temporary.
“The suspension is over in seven days,” Bongino said. “In seven days, I am going back to YouTube and I am going to repost the exact same content questioning the efficacy of masks.”
Bongino tweeted his response to YouTube which includes an email to someone named “Coco.”
“We knew it was a matter of time before the tyrannical, free-speech hating, bulls**t, big tech s**t hole you work for, would try to silence us,” Bongino wrote.
Many conservative pundits think that Big Tech is unfairly targeting them. Last year, YouTube removed and demonetized conservative commentator Steven Crowder’s account for making claims that the 2020 election was stolen. Crowder eventually filed suit against the platform.
Bongino, an investor in social media platform Rumble, said he plans to post his content there while he awaits the end of his YouTube suspension. He told YouTube he plans to post the same content that earned him a suspension when he is reinstated.
Last week, during his nationally syndicated radio show, Bongino berated Cumulus Media CEO Mary Berner for firing employees for not adhering to the company’s vaccine mandates. Bongino’s show is distributed by Westwood One which is owned by Cumulus Media.
