UTA Talent Agency Drops Journalist Lara Logan

Mediaite reports that Lara Logan has been dropped by her talent agency UTA in the fallout regarding comments she made during a guest appearance on Fox News in late November.

The former “60 minutes” correspondent compared Dr. Anthony Fauci to Dr. Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor who performed cruel medical experiments on Jewish prisoners.

“This is what people say to me, that he doesn’t represent science to them. He represents Josef Mengele. The Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews during the Second World War and in the concentration camps,” Logan said.

UTA chief communications officer Seth Oster confirmed the agency severed ties with Logan several weeks ago. Additionally, a UTA insider corroborated to Mediaite that she was let go over her “highly offensive” and “unacceptable” remarks, which sparked anger within the agency.

Fox News never employed Logan, but she did host a show on their streaming platform on Fox Nation (“Lara Logan Has No Agenda”) and appeared regularly on the cable news network as an unpaid guest.

However, since those comments, Logan has disappeared from the air at Fox News and hasn’t been booked since.
