Over the last few weeks, podcaster Joe Rogan has found himself in the spotlight, whether it’s due to Covid-19 misinformation or having episodes of his podcast removed as a result of him saying the n-word.
Rogan has come out on both occasions providing a statement on being balanced regarding Covid-19 coverage, and he apologized for saying the racial slur on numerous occasions. However, former President Donald Trump states that the podcaster should stop apologizing.
“Joe Rogan is an interesting and popular guy, but he’s got to stop apologizing to the Fake News and Radical Left maniacs and lunatics,” Trump said in a statement.
“How many ways can you say you’re sorry? Joe, just go about what you do so well and don’t let them make you look weak and frightened. That’s not you, and it never will be!”
Over the weekend, Rogan apologized for his latest controversy regarding his use of the n-word on various episodes of his podcast, which Spotify has since pulled.
“There’s nothing I can do to take that back. I wish I could. Obviously, that’s not possible,” Rogan added. “I certainly wasn’t trying to be racist, and I certainly would never want to offend someone for entertainment with something as stupid as racism.”
