The Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals is a couple of days away, and CNN is doing its part to provide coverage of the big game.
Before the game on Sunday night, CNN will have a half-hour special, “Kickoff in Los Angeles: A CNN-Bleacher Report Special,” hosted by CNN Sports anchors Andy Scholes and Coy Wire.
Scholes will take the audience inside the Super Bowl experience from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles; meanwhile, NFL veteran Wire contributes to the show while on location at the Winter Olympics in China.
Joining Scholes and Wire will be newcomers Cari Champion and Jemele Hill, who will be hosting a weekly show on CNN+.
During the special, Champion will examine diversity problems in the NFL and the star-studded half-time show, including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
Two-time Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning will join the show, discussing plenty of topics. Manning has an upcoming Super Bowl ad and his popular ManningCast he hosts with his brother and NFL veteran Eli Manning, which the former quarterback will talk about on the show.
CNN’s Super Bowl LVI special will air on February 12 at 2:30pmET.
