Eminem Visited NBC Production Crew After Super Bowl

The NFL asked the performers in Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show not to kneel during their performance. Eminem decided to do it anyway. If that ruffled any feathers at the league office, it wasn’t evident after the game.

The rapper visited NBC’s production truck outside of SoFi Stadium and hung around for a while according to The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch. He even took time to pose for pictures as evidenced by one tweeted out by producer Fred Gaudelli.

When most people think of Eminem and sportscasters, their minds likely go straight to his appearance on ABC’s primetime college football broadcast in 2013. It was a moment that Kirk Herbstreit said felt awkward in the moment, but in hindsight was brilliant marketing by the rapper.

Sunday night was very different. Eminem was reportedly all smiles as he chatted and posed for pictures with various members of the NBC crew. According to Deitsch, that included Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth.
