CBS Radio, Entercom has agreed to settle a class-action sexual harassment lawsuit brought by a former payroll manager.
According to Inside Radio, Jacquelyn Musiello, who left her position in 2017, alleged “systemic harassment” by former WCBS-FM host Dan Taylor. Musiello charged CBS Radio perpetuated an “anything goes” culture.
CBS sold its radio division to Entercom in 2017, the same year that Musiello left her position due to “physical and emotional distress.” She was reportedly seeking $10 million in damages. In the complaint, Musiello said she entered a conference room after work hours and found a pair engaging in sex.
Musiello claims that she told her boss about the incident but that the report was “laughed off.”
The suit, filed in 2020, names CBS Corp., CBS Radio, CBS Sports Radio Network, Entercom Communications (now Audacy), Dan Taylor, Margaret Marion, ABC Corporations, “John Does,” and CBS Sports Network as defendants.
The terms of the settlement were not disclosed with the caveat that the order could be reopened within 30 days if the settlement is not completed. The terms of the agreement were not immediately known.
