There are many ways media outlets tend to celebrate reaching a milestone. However, it’s not everyday one gets to the 100th-anniversary, so WLW in Cincinnati is coming up with a unique way to honor their centennial mark.
WLW is giving the station away to a listener, well, five listeners, as part of their celebrations.
“For a hundred years or so, we’ve heard you say you could do a better job than us, well – we agree and here’s your chance to prove it,” the station stated, per Inside Radio.
“We’re giving away 700WLW! Listen up… 5 lucky winners will get to co-host on-air with their favorite host! Get on the mic with McConnell, have your say with Sloanie, match wits with Willie, make it a three-way with Eddie and Rocky or lay it down with Lance. You wanna be a radio star? Here’s your chance.”
The statement gave no further details as to how long the listeners will own the radio station or how they’ll determine the winners of this giveaway for WLW.
