The GM Shuffle is getting an overhaul. Michael Lombardi is getting a new co-host as DraftKings prepares to relaunch the show on audio platforms and add a video element on the YouTube channels for both DraftKings and VSiN.
Femi Abebefe will join Lombardi as the show’s new co-host. The duo has worked together hosting shows for VSiN.
“We are thrilled to enhance our DraftKings programming by adding an established and successful podcast that provides fans with an inside look at front office operations,” said Stacie McCollum, Vice President of Programming at DraftKings. “Michael Lombardi and Femi Abebefe will entertain while providing a credible and unique perspective of the NFL.”
The GM Shuffle will relaunch on March 31. New episodes will debut every Thursday.
Fans know Michael Lombardi from his time as an executive in the NFL. He worked with the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, and Oakland Raiders. Femi Abebefe is a new voice for much of the country. He joined VSiN last year after serving as a sports reporter for KOMO-TV in Seattle.
“I’m extremely excited for the return of The GM Shuffle and that it will be under the DraftKings and VSiN umbrella,” said Lombardi. “It’s been great working with Femi at VSiN, and I can’t wait to team up for the podcast, where we will argue, laugh, debate and give informed, unfiltered views on the happenings in the NFL each and every week.”
