Mark Schlereth is doing well after heart surgery. He tweeted a photo and message from Porter Hospital in Denver. He thanked not only his fans, but the staff that took care of him throughout the two days he was there as well.
Chad Andrus has been working with Mike Evans on 104.3 The Fan for the last two days. Schlereth did not mention a timetable to return to his radio show.
Mark Schlereth has stayed busy since his retirement from the NFL. He has been a staple of sports talk radio in Denver. He is known across the country for his television work, first for ESPN and now on FOX Sports. Last year, after signing an extension with Bonneville to remain in morning drive on 104.3 The Fan, he also signed a deal with BetRivers to create localized content for sports bettors in Colorado.
