There’s still plenty of information regarding what motivated the alleged subway shooter, Frank James, to open fire in the Brooklyn station on Tuesday morning, which wounded at least 29 people.
During a segment on “Fox & Friends,” they played a YouTube video that allegedly shows James complaining about the city’s homeless problem, leading the panel to discuss safety on public transit.
“You look at all these images; where are the transit cops?” co-host Steve Doocy asked. “I know, they are going to double,” Doocy said. “Well, they should double — I looked at a lot of this video, I have not seen one transit cop.”
The conversation then transitioned to the homelessness that many see while riding public transit. Doocy then presented the question of whether that was the motivation for James, leading co-host Brian Kilmeade to respond.
“Mayor deBlasio thought it was a good idea to leave the homeless on the trains and let them become apartment buildings,” Kilmeade said.
Kilmeade continued by saying that he rode the subway four days a week, “and I can’t tell you how many guys, you look at them and you go, that is an aggressive person that you do not want to turn your back on.”
