John Berman Feeling ‘Much Better’ After Hospitalization

On Monday, CNN’s John Berman ended up in the hospital while running the Boston Marathon on behalf of Team Beans Fund. However, the anchor shared his race experience, which resulted in him heading to the hospital.

Berman provided an update on his health status Tuesday, stating that the doctors there wanted him to remain one more night for observation. However, he joked that it was due to his charm.

“I love Boston so much, I decided to stay at least 1 night longer! ⁦The @RedSox, the ⁦@celtics, & world’s best hospitals!” Berman tweeted

“I am feeling so much better. They say they want to keep an eye on me for one more day. I really think it’s just because I’m so charming.”

Berman had excitement running the marathon and even FaceTimed into the “New Day” show from the car on his way to the race, leading to many of his colleague wishing him well.

“So apparently I had 25 GREAT miles…I say apparently because it seems I took a bit of a detour to the medical tent…and then the hospital,” Berman stated on Twitter. “I don’t exactly remember what happened…but I am doing MUCH better now. Back to work soon!”

The CNN anchor Berman ran for Team Beans, an organization raising funds for children’s cancer research in the name of Francesca’ Beans’ Kaczynski, who died at nine months old and was the daughter of CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski.
