NFL Rolls Out TV Schedule For International Games

The NFL will not reveal its full 2022 schedule until next week, but on Wednesday, fans got a peak at the league’s slate of international games. The league has promised more international games than ever this season and based on what is being reported, it looks like those games will be played in three different countries.

ESPN will get two of the games. Week 8 will see ESPN+ get its first-ever exclusive NFL game. A London matchup between the Broncos and Jaguars receives that honor. ESPN+ will have one exclusive international game for each of the next twelve seasons.

Monday Night Football goes international in Week 11. The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals will face off in Estadio Azteca. The network will utilize its Mexico City production facilities to produce the game. It is the fourth time ESPN has televised an NFL game from Mexico.

London is getting two other games as well. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host the Saints and Vikings in Week 4 and the Giants and Packers in Week 5.

The NFL is also playing a regular season game in Germany for the first time ever. It has been known for some time that the Buccaneers would play in Munich this season. Now we have details.

Tampa Bay will host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10 at the home of Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich. It is the first of a four-year stretch that will see one game in Germany every season. Kickoff is set for 9:30 AM on the East Coast. No network has been announced yet, although with two NFC teams involved, it is assumed the game will be on FOX.
