New CNN boss Chris Licht is making changes at the network as it steers towards the middle and away from one that shows bias. Last week a report surfaced that he’s monitoring anchors to confirm their manner follows his plan to become less partisan.
This way of thinking has surprised many, including people at Fox News. Host Jesse Watters applauded CNN for its shift toward “the middle” as he cited the network’s anchors have been asking hard questions about President Joe Biden.
“Something really strange is happening over at CNN,” Watters said, per Mediaite. “They are turning their backs on Joe Biden. We noticed it on Monday when Don Lemon decided to get tough on Biden’s press secretary.”
Watters then aired an interview snippet wherein Lemon grilled White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about the president’s “stamina.” In another clip, Watters also showed Lemon noting Biden often has a problem speaking effectively.
“We were just as shocked as the French woman was,” Watters said. “The times, they are a-changing. He is not the only one seeing the light. Over the last 24 hours, several faces over at CNN have just turned their backs on Biden.”
