ESPN has seen an expansion into the sports betting landscape that continues with more sports betting content and expanded roles for current betting talent.
Doug Kezirian has been named ESPN Sports Betting Insider. Kezirian, who joined ESPN in 2012, has hosted Daily Wager since its launch in March of 2019. He will continue to be based in Las Vegas and will make regular appearances on Daily Wager. He will add several betting columns per week on ESPN.com and will contribute to ESPN Radio during weekends throughout the college football and NFL seasons.
Tyler Fulghum, a Sports Betting Analyst for ESPN, will become the new host of Daily Wager. He’ll continue to make appearances on SportsCenter and NBA Today.
After signing a new contract extension earlier this week, Joe Fortenbaugh also has an expanded role. Fortenbaugh will continue to contribute to Daily Wager, but will also host a new podcast beginning in January.
“Fans are craving sports betting content, and ahead of and during football season we want to provide it to them,” said ESPN Vice President of Fantasy and Sports Betting Content Scott Clark. “We have added some talented minds to the diverse and well-respected industry experts we already have, and are implementing new creative ideas into the mix. Now we’re just ready to watch it all unfold starting with football season.”
ESPN has also announced a new show called Bet with Erin Dolan will be published each Monday on Snapchat. ESPN Sports Betting Analyst Anita Marks is adding a weekly sports betting show on ESPN Los Angeles from 7:00 PM-10:00 PM PT. Marks will continue her work on The Anita Marks Show on ESPN New York.
