Keith Olbermann Slams Anderson Cooper for Not Leading Show With Rudy Giuliani News

Former MSNBC host and podcaster Keith Olbermann has been vocal in his criticism of CNN in 2022 and it’s not stopping in 2023 as he’s going after the network for its programming.

Olbermann slammed host Anderson Cooper for not leading Monday’s “Anderson Cooper 360°” show with the news of Rudy Giuliani being subpoenaed and asked to turn over records to a federal grand jury as part of an investigation into Donald Trump’s fundraising following the 2020 election.

“Here is @andersoncooper burying his @CNN network’s own Special Counsel/Trump/Subpoena to @RudyGiuliani story so he can alter facts and claim the Biden docs/Trump espionage cases are remotely seriously,” Olbermann said on Twitter. “He should resign after this shameful wh–ing.”

The podcaster isn’t alone in taking shots at Cooper, recently former CNN colleague Piers Morgan levied an unspecified accusation at Cooper.

“I gotta say — and people can believe this or not — but I find it a very friendly collegiate place to work,” Morgan said. “Everyone’s very nice. When I was at CNN, it could be a lot less friendly than Fox. A lot more back biting, a lot more backstabbing actually in some cases.”

“Don’t wanna mention names, but Anderson Cooper knows where he is. And I found that Fox — I found that Fox is a different atmosphere by contrast.”
