There has been a strong reaction to Fox News using a graphic that called President Biden a “wannabe dictator“, with Keith Olbermann being the latest to pile on.
“Fox learned nothing from the Dominion case. The network and the company need to be metaphorically burned to the ground. Happily, they seem to be doing that themselves,” he said during his Countdown with Keith Olbermann podcast Friday.
He then turned his response to the network’s reaction to story, mocking the lengths Fox News has gone to to avoid the story.
“Somebody asked about it at the White House press briefing the next day while Fox was carrying the White House press briefing live and Fox cut away from the answer so they could do a story about a giant crocodile and a swimming pool in a house in Florida!”
Olbermann also took umbrage with a story frequently utilized by the network in previous days. Fox News reports continually claimed President Joe Biden broke U.S. Flag Code with a display of the LGBTQ+ Pride Flag at a ceremony earlier this week. The network said the flag “promotes grooming and pedophilia”.
However, as Olbermann noted, Fox used the identical flag as part of its corporate logo at an event last year.
