NewsNation will be the next network to host the 2024 Republican Presidential primary debate. The fourth debate will be on Wednesday, December 6th. Candidates will gather at the University of Alabama’s Frank Moody Music Building in Tuscaloosa.
Additionally, SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly, NewsNation anchor Elizabeth Vargas, and Eliana Johnson of The Washington Free Beacon will be moderators for the debate.
Nonetheless, there was some reaction to the announcement, with former MNSBC host and podcaster Keith Olbermann dismissing the decision to host the debate on NewsNation.
“GOP debate moves to the Nick-at-Nite of TV News, the propagandist network whose hosts go along with the scam that they aren’t a pointless right-wing outlet,” Olbermann wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
The upcoming event will be aired on the cable network and nationally on The CW. The affiliates in the Mountain and Pacific time zones will see an encore presentation of the debate in primetime. Moreover, the debate will also be broadcast on SiriusXM Triumph channel 111.
