The Arena Group, parent company of Sports Illustrated, has fired CEO Ross Levinsohn.
The move follows several other departures from the company’s leadership. The Arena Group also terminated operations president and COO Andrew Kraft, media president Rob Barrett, and corporate counsel Julie Fenster.
Manoj Bhargava has been named the company’s interim CEO.

Sports Illustrated and The Arena Group came under heavy criticism last month after it was revealed that AI-generated pieces attributed to fake authors had been regularly posted on SI.com.
The company in its statement did not mention the controversy or provide additional information on why there’s been such a shake-up in leadership.
