WBAP midday host Casey Bartholomew has signed an extension to remain with the Cumulus Media Dallas news/talk station.
Bartholomew hosts from 9-11 AM on WBAP. He has hosted the daypart since August 2022, when he joined from KFRU in Columbia, Missouri. He had previously served as the Program Director for that outlet. Bartholomew has held on-air roles at New Jersey 101.5, KFI AM-640 in Los Angeles, The Big 550 KTRS in St. Louis, and 580 WDBO in Orlando, among others.
In a social media post, Bartholomew revealed that he had signed a two-year extension to remain with the news/talk station that added an FM simulcast late last year on 93.3 FM.
“I’ll be holding down the 9-11 AM slot for at least another 2 years…unless something better comes along,” he wrote with a winking face emoji.
Casey Bartholomew took over the timeslot that was previously occupied by Ernie Brown. He moved to the station’s morning show, which now consists of Brown, Hal Jay, Carla Marion, and Nicole Osei, in 2022.
