Golden State Warriors, 95.7 The Game Announce Extension

Date:

The Golden State Warriors and 95.7 The Game have agreed to multi-year extension for the station to remain the radio flagship.

“We’re ecstatic to continue our partnership with 95.7 The Game and the Audacy team,” said Brandon Schneider, Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer. “They have been an incredible partner for the last six years, documenting one of the greatest runs in NBA history, and have built a powerful presence in the Bay Area sports media landscape.”

The partnership began for the 2016-2017 season and has seen the Warriors win three NBA Championships during the six seasons.

Tim Roye will remain as the team’s play-by-play voice, beginning his 28th season with club. Tom Tolbert and Jim Barnett will serve as color commentators, with Tolbert working home games and Barnett working on the road. A 30-minute pre-game and postgame show will continue on the station.

“We’ve been so fortunate to give listeners a front row seat to the sounds of three championships over the last decade, and we’re thrilled to extend our partnership with the NBA’s premier franchise,” said Stacey Kauffman, Regional Vice President, Audacy San Francisco.

The Warriors begin the 2022-2023 regular season on Tuesday, October 18th against the Los Angeles Lakers.
