96.9 The Game is bringing in a new voice and station leader. Kyle Cassandra is joining the station as the new program director. He will also be the co-host of the station’s midday show The Beat of Sports.
Cassandra has not been in radio full-time since 2020. Prior to that, he worked for crosstown rival ESPN 580. He was there from 2007 until 2020, serving as executive producer and APD.
At the Game, he replaces Scott Harris, who had been at iHeartMedia in Orlando for 17 years. Harris is moving on to dedicate more time to other endeavors, including his role as the play-by-play voice of Orlando City in the MLS.
Kyle Cassandra made his debut on 96.9 The Game on Monday. He is partnered with Marc Daniels on The Beat of Sports.
