KAT 103.7 Omaha partnered with local trucking company Heavy B Hauling to host a 12-hour “Stuff the Truck” event on Tuesday at Boot Barn in LaVista, NE.
The relief effort for Hurricane Helene sent non-perishable food, bottled water, diapers, and other essential items to the affected areas in the east. In addition, a GoFundMe campaign successfully raised $3,000 to support the cause.
Kat 103.7 PD Hoss Michaels said, “At KAT 103.7, we are deeply moved by the overwhelming generosity of our listeners. In just 12 hours, their incredible donations of essential items like diapers, pet food, cleaning supplies, batteries, and blankets filled a truck with supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
“Their kindness and support are not just appreciated—they are life-changing. These donations will provide much-needed relief and comfort to families and pets in desperate need. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us and showing the true spirit of community.” Michaels continued.
