Baseball’s postseason, featuring a couple teams from the largest markets in the country, has continued to draw big viewership numbers. FOX Sports reports Game 3, a runaway win for the Dodgers 8-0, drew 6.2 million viewers on average to FS1, FOX Sports Deportes and FOX Sports streaming services, which makes it the most watched telecast on that network since 2021.
The game was up 44% from last year’s NLCS Game 3. It peaked at 6.818 million viewers between 9:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. ET.
On FS1 alone the game averaged 5.882 viewers, marking the most-watched LCS Game 3 on any network since 2017.
To date, the 2024 MLB Postseason on FOX and FS1 is averaging 4,701,000 viewers, up 40% over last season through LCS Game 3 and the networks’ best MLB Postseason-to-date since the launch of postseason baseball on FS1 in 2014.
Game 4 also went to the Dodgers 10-2. Game 5 will take place late this afternoon at 4:08 p.m. ET on FS1. If a Game 6 is necessary, it will be played Sunday night. Game 7 would be Monday Oct. 21.
