103.5 KTU New York has announced the return of “Beatstock,” a dance music festival for two nights. Celebrating throwback tracks, freestyle, dance, and pop music, the festival is set for August 16-17 at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY, on Saturday and PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ, on Sunday.
Jill Kempton, Program Director of 103.5 KTU, said, “’Beatstock’ was more than just a concert — it was a movement. We’re thrilled to bring that magic back to the stage this summer and reconnect with generations of fans who lived for this music.”
Hosting responsibilities will be divided among both current and former personalities from 103.5 KTU, including Speedy, as well as Melissa Gorga, entrepreneur, author, and star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Saturday’s lineup features Boy George, Joey McIntyre, 3rd Bass, Right Said Fred, Reel 2 Real, No Mercy, Lucas Prata, Reina, Angelo Venuto, Kim Sozzi, C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams, Xaviera Gold, Janice Robinson of the original Livin’ Joy, Rockell, George Lamond, Judy Torres, Corina, Coro, Cynthia, and Lisette Melendez, plus legendary DJ sets from Jonathan Peters, DJ Skribble, Glenn Frisciaand Blazer One.
The day two lineup includes the same performers and adds Robin S and DJ Louie DeVito, along with the return of DJ Skribble, Glenn Friscia and Blazer One.
