The RTDNA has announced the winners of the 2026 Edward R. Murrow Awards.
What We Know: The organization released the winners of all 14 regions at once. In the past, it has released them region by region, once per day. Winners of the Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards will advance to the national competition. Those victors will be announced in August. National winners will be celebrated at the Edward R. Murrow Awards Gala on Monday, October 12th at Gotham Hall in New York City.
What It Means: The Edward R. Murrow Awards continue to be a major deal to local radio and television brands. Those dedicated to producing high-quality local journalism celebrate the victories like a Super Bowl win. Now we wait to see which local brands will accept national awards in the coming months.
And the Winners Are…
