Audacy has promoted Joe LaCroix to Brand Manager at 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore. He steps into the role vacated by Scott Jameson, who departed in March after just over a year. LaCroix was elevated to Assistant Program Director in February.
What We Know: LaCroix will oversee content strategy, talent, operations, and branding for the station. He first joined 105.7 The Fan in 2017 as a part-time board operator. He later advanced to Executive Producer of the Big Bad Morning Show in 2021. Notably, his promotion fills the void left by Jameson, who exited after relocating back to Detroit became necessary due to his family’s circumstances.
What They Said: Chris Kinard, Sports Format Vice President, Audacy: “Joe’s dedication over the past year has been nothing short of exceptional, constantly stepping up to support the team and taking on challenges outside his comfort zone. His tireless work ethic and natural ability to bring people together made him the obvious choice for Brand Manager.”
Joe LaCroix: “I’m excited and honored to be the next Brand Manager at 105.7 The Fan. Where I began my career nearly a decade ago. We have a special group of people here in Baltimore and I can’t wait to write the next chapter of The Fan’s history with them.”
What Remains Unclear: It uncertain if LaCroix will continue to serve as Executive Producer of The Big Bad Morning Show.
What It Means: This is 105.7 The Fan’s second programmer in less than 18 months. Especially following the departure of Chuck Sapienza who mutually agreed to part ways with Audacy Baltimore in late 2024. Moreover, LaCroix’s decade-long relationship with The Fan gives him immediate credibility with staff and listeners alike.
