Radio host Clay Travis and Buck Sexton ripped media coverage Wednesday of a man convicted in a horrific Wisconsin parade attack.

Travis believes that MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross is one of those people who tried to tie Tua Tagovailoa's concussion to racism.

During his Twitter thread, Travis asked "How does censoring interviews with political leaders aid any voters or democracy itself?"

Travis called the article one of the “dumbest stories he’d ever seen.” He added that it marked the natural evolution of the argument that men can compete against women. 

Sexton accused CNN Monday of publishing “congratulatory headlines” while covering a story involving illegal immigration. 

“If this has really happened, this is a goldmine for us,” said Travis. “A Florida based team is not going to be on a radio station that we’re on because they’re accusing us of COVID misinformation?”

Travis and Sexton are contesting the accuracy of a USA Today article criticizing Travis’ character and the duo’s reporting on an apparent racial hoax.

Olbermann said Travis "redefines dumbf*** racist" for his opinion. Travis countered by saying he couldn't be labeled racist after comparing athletes of different races, while pointing out the similarities between Irving and Rodgers with Ali for their standing up to government policies. He also called COVID "our modern era Vietnam".
