During Erin Burnett OutFront, the anchor covered a story published by New York Magazine in what it called a six-month investigation into Hunter Biden's laptop, which Olbermann panned.

Olbermann first took his latest shot at CNN CEO Chris Licht, reiterating his claim that when the pair worked together at MSNBC he thought Licht "ate paste", before turning his attention to Tapper.

"And I'm sorry to say this under these circumstances but I never saw Bernie Shaw be nice to anybody."

Keilar said Biden shouldn't have utilized Marines in the background of his speech. Olbermann pointed out last week the only reason those Marines were in the background was because that's where they're permanently stationed at the facility.

"But CNN deserves to be singled out. We know it has installed a hatchet man for Joe Scarborough as its new president."
