This is the juiciest red meat imaginable dangling off the entertainment bone for news/talk radio hosts. And many didn't jump on it like they were starving.

Some news media members argued that the comments from Musk were false and intentionally inflammatory, while others were astounded that the billionaire took the feud to that level at all.

"The action of withdrawing federal funding is retaliatory, and so this is a First Amendment issue.”

"The lead correspondent on America's most watched news broadcast calling out the President is huge.'

"It’s truly scandalous that high-ranking Biden officials denied what the conservative media were reporting all along."

I’m not saying journalists shouldn’t give these spats some brief attention, but do we really need to cover every round of these squabbles as if they were as important as the furor over the president accepting a $400 million jet from Qatar?  

"I'm off to chase the next big story."
