"The industry has spent decades telling talent to be genuine, build trust, and create authentic relationships with listeners. Yet when those same qualities extend beyond sports and into the realities of the business itself, they can suddenly be viewed as liabilities instead of strengths."
The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFoA) is reintroducing its “12 Days of Giving” campaign in conjunction with Giving Tuesday and the upcoming holiday season.
It will be a day for the radio community to come together with one common goal, to support radio professionals in need of financial assistance due to a critical illness, accident, or disaster.
“Their support of the Foundation’s charitable mission and their leadership in the broadcast industry is commendable,” said Scott Herman, Chairman of the Broadcasters Foundation of America.
"The industry has spent decades telling talent to be genuine, build trust, and create authentic relationships with listeners. Yet when those same qualities extend beyond sports and into the realities of the business itself, they can suddenly be viewed as liabilities instead of strengths."
"I, somehow, have been able to survive and adapt. My career is full of different chapters. Every one of those chapters, I never really knew if I’d make it out of it."
