According to a series of tweets from conservative radio host Clay Travis, YouTube has removed an interview done during The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show with former President Donald Trump.
The pair interviewed the former President on July 29th at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey while it hosted the controversial Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour.
A transcript of the interview appears on The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show website, and reveals a wide range of topics, including Vladimir Putin’s motivations for attacking Ukraine, a possible investigation into President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, and how Chinese aggression against Taiwan “could lead to World War III”.
During his Twitter thread, Travis asked “How does censoring interviews with political leaders aid any voters or democracy itself?” He later said YouTube “should be ashamed for for censoring interviews with any political figure”.
YouTube has yet to comment publicly on its decision to remove the interview from its platform.
