Audacy New York has announced an FM simulcast for 1010 WINS will begin on Thursday, October 27th. Listeners will be able to hear the station on 92.3 FM, which will improve it’s reach throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
92.3 FM is currently the home ALT 92.3, an alternative station, which can still be heard on 92.3 HD-2 after October 27th. WNYL-FM has 6,000 watts of power.
The station has also announced a new agreement with SAG-AFTRA has allowed a combined newsroom of anchors and reporters to provide coverage on both 1010 WINS and 880 WCBS.

After the resignation of News Director and Brand Manager Tim Scheld, Ivan Lee has been named the new Brand Manager of both news stations, while Ben Mevorach will serve as the new Vice President of New York News for the company.
