CNN anchor Jake Tapper began hosting the 9:00 PM ET timeslot for the network earlier this week, and it’s safe to say conservative radio host Howie Carr isn’t a fan.
“Last night, dementia Joe Biden was on Jake Tapper — a Democrat operative with a press pass, formerly employed by Chelsea Clinton’s mother-in-law who was married to a guy who went to prison for $10 million in bank fraud, another Democrat Congressman married to a Democrat Congresswoman. He’s the cream of the D.C. press corps,” Carr said. “I guess last night was his first night in primetime after he took over for Don Lemon whose been demoted to mornings on CNN. He got a 15-minute interview with (Joe Biden) and of course they recorded it. It couldn’t be live because it was 9:00 PM, not long after he’s asleep.”
Carr took issue with Tapper’s lack of questioning of the President after Joe Biden dropped his notecards during the interview — which Tapper helped retrieve — and the President began calling the Inflation Reduction Act the Inflation Act.
The criticism of Tapper from Carr comes after another conservative pundit had praise for the CNN anchor. Megyn Kelly revealed she thought Tapper was a fair journalist.
