It’s still early in Jason McIntyre’s run on The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Cowherd explained how he and the audience see the partnership thus far.
“When I do this show, one of the things that cracks me up, because J-Mac has only been on the show through the football season – about six months or so,” Cowherd said Thursday. “Everybody goes, ‘Oh he’s like your little brother who holds you accountable.’ And I kind of like that.”
Colin went on to add that he tries to make sure he doesn’t date himself too badly when throwing various references out there.
“I have to be careful because I am older than J-Mac, he is not aware of a lot of what happened in the 70s unless it was Northeast,” he said.
Denver Nuggets legend Alex English was the next guest on the show, and Cowherd asked if McIntyre had ever seen any of English’s highlights. English played in Denver from 1980-90.
“I’m older than you think and yes, I can name just about any NBA player from 1985, 1986,” McIntyre responded.
